Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 14, 2026

Sparkle is a product of Highwire Solutions, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Highwire Solutions," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Sparkle platform — including the staff application at app.getsparkleapp.com, the customer portal at my.getsparkleapp.com, related mobile applications, and this website (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

Sparkle serves two groups of users:

  • Subscribers — cleaning businesses and their team members who sign up for a Sparkle account to manage clients, scheduling, quoting, and payments.
  • End Users — homeowners, tenants, or property managers who interact with a cleaning business through the Sparkle customer portal.

When a Subscriber enters client data into Sparkle, the Subscriber is the data controller for that data and Sparkle acts as a data processor on the Subscriber's behalf. For data we collect about Subscribers themselves (account registration, billing, support), Highwire Solutions is the data controller.

2.3 Information collected automatically

  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, timestamps, referring URLs.
  • Device data — browser type, operating system, screen size, IP address.
  • Log data — server logs for security monitoring and error diagnosis.

We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. We may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (such as Plausible) to understand aggregate usage patterns. No personal data is shared with ad networks.

2.4 Information from third-party services

  • Property data — when a Subscriber uses the instant-quote feature, we may query public property records (county assessor / parcel databases) to retrieve square footage, bedroom/bathroom counts, year built, and lot size for a given address. This data comes from public sources and is associated with the property, not the individual.
  • Payment processing — Stripe processes credit card transactions. We do not receive or store full card numbers. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
  • Process subscription billing and Stripe Connect payments.
  • Send transactional emails (invitations, notifications, visit reminders, portal messages).
  • Power AI-assisted features (Sparkle Intelligence) — cleaning plan suggestions, communication drafts, dispatch recommendations, and profitability insights. See Section 5.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and protect against misuse.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • With Subscribers' clients — when a Subscriber invites a client to the portal, the client sees the Subscriber's company name, branding, and service information.
  • With service providers — we use the sub-processors listed below to operate the Service.
  • Legal requirements — if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice.

Sub-processors

Supabase Database, authentication, file storage All account and business data
Stripe Subscription billing, Stripe Connect (customer payments) Billing details, payment transactions
Resend Transactional email delivery Email addresses, email content
OpenAI AI features (Sparkle Intelligence) Anonymized prompts containing property/plan data (see Section 5)

5. AI Features (Sparkle Intelligence)

Sparkle Intelligence uses artificial intelligence to suggest cleaning plans, draft communications, and generate operational insights. When you use these features:

  • Property and plan data is sent to our AI provider (currently OpenAI) to generate suggestions.
  • We do not send client names, phone numbers, email addresses, or access codes to AI providers.
  • AI-generated content is a suggestion only. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI output before acting on it — especially quotes, client communications, and scheduling decisions.
  • We do not use your data to train AI models. Our agreement with OpenAI specifies that API inputs and outputs are not used for model training.

6. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable safeguards, including:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS) for all connections.
  • Encryption at rest for database storage.
  • Row-level security (RLS) so each organization can only access its own data.
  • Role-based access controls within each organization (owner, admin, manager, lead, cleaner).
  • Secure password hashing via Supabase Auth.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@getsparkleapp.com.

7. Data Retention

  • Active accounts — we retain data as long as your Sparkle subscription is active.
  • Cancelled accounts — after cancellation, we retain data for 90 days to allow reactivation. After that, data is scheduled for deletion.
  • Legal obligations — we may retain billing records and logs longer as required by law (e.g., tax records).
  • End User data — retained as long as the Subscriber's account is active. End Users may request deletion through their cleaning company.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data.
  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Export — request your data in a portable format.
  • Opt out of marketing — you may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time (transactional emails related to your account are not affected).

To exercise these rights, email privacy@getsparkleapp.com. We will respond within 30 days.

For California residents (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To make a CCPA request, contact privacy@getsparkleapp.com.

For End Users (portal users)

If you use a cleaning company's Sparkle customer portal, your cleaning company is the controller of your data. For access, correction, or deletion requests, contact your cleaning company first. If they are unable to help, email us at privacy@getsparkleapp.com and we will coordinate with the Subscriber on your behalf.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

10. Third-Party Links

The Service may link to third-party websites (e.g., Stripe payment pages, map providers). We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before providing information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes we will notify Subscribers by email or in-app notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
